Use the vildX payment QR supplied by a participating merchant. Scan & Pay is not a promise that every QR code or every store is supported. Check with the merchant before paying.
Do shoppers pay a vildX fee?
Shoppers do not pay a vildX payment fee. Merchants pay 1% of each Scan & Pay transaction. vildX covers network and other third-party costs incurred through the platform. Review the payment details and any displayed costs in the app before you authorize.
Do I need a physical card?
The Scan & Pay flow uses your phone and a participating merchant’s QR code. You review and authorize the payment in vildX.
How do I know the payment went through?
Wait for the payment confirmation in the app and check your transaction history. If the status is unclear, check with the merchant or contact vildX support before trying another payment.
Where can I use Scan & Pay?
Scan & Pay is rolling out at participating merchants in the Canadian beta. Check availability in the app and ask the merchant whether they accept vildX.
What currency are payments made in?
vildX uses stablecoin balances, and current supported payments settle in USDC. Any CAD amount shown in this walkthrough is an illustration, not a live exchange quote. Review the actual payment amount, exchange rate and any conversion costs in the app.
